Good post here on UD - I'm still play...Hi Gary<br /><br />Good post here on UD - I'm still playing catch up so haven't read anything yet except on other posts. Your's provides a great overview and <br />I'll link you when I get to it. I like the idea that a course truly based on UD must continually evolve - I think mine must be and that's why I'm aways so busy - constantly developing to meet needs of students which change from year to year. When I first started here four years ago I rewrote assessments each year to cater to different needs, chucking the old ones. Then I thought well if I hold onto them all, I might have a student group that is better suited to a workbook/ essay/ poster etc and I can just select as seems appropriate each year. Now I'm thinking more and more that as I develop different asessments for the same material that I can just give the students a choice of what assessment they choose or even ask them how they would like to present the evidence.
